5dimes is stealing from Future Players

5dimes is closing to all US customers. They seem to want to do things the right way as they gave us a warning and said we can cash out. So the stance they are taking on Future tickets is a bit mind-boggling.
There are a ton of people that bet futures, particularly to WIN Championships like the NBA or NHL. 5dimes cut off date for wagers to be graded is 9/21. This is before the completion of the NBA/NHL finals. 5dimes current stance is if a wager that is pending cannot be graded on 9/21, then it is a cancelled bet. Sounds good in theory.
However, the NBA and NHL Finals will not be concluded by that date. Although the Finals will be underway. By their rule, all teams still alive will be refunded.
Here's the issue, they are grading all teams that lose, losers. So, Every team that was bet on besides the two that are in the finals, 5dimes is grading a LOSER. The teams remaining are cancelled. In booking, its very black and white. You can't have a loser without a winner. They are essentially grading all bets that give them money yet any risk of payout those bets are cancelled. I contacted CS as made this point and was told essentially fuck off.
Here's my situation. (And alot of people's situation who bet on the NBA/NHL Finals) I purchased Lightning to win the Cup at +650 for $500. This pays $3000+ I then purchased Stars to win the Cup at +735 for $445. This pays $3000+ Late in the Stars vs Avs series, I'd hedge my bet(and fading Vegas Knights) I took Avs to win the Cup for $450 at +650. So I had 3 of the remaining 4 teams given Vegas and Lightning were about to close or did close series. Avs lost the series, they took my $500. -$500 on my bets currently.
If (eh, let's be honest) WHEN the Lightning win the East, The Lightning to win the Cup maybe FAVORED. Yet, my +600 ticket will be deemed cancelled when the only price available maybe MINUS money. I'm getting no payout for being right series ago. It's both theoretical and possible we ahve a Stars vs Lightning Finals in which I'd be guaranteed almost $3000 in profit without doing anything as I'll have both Finals. Yet, I will finish my NHL future bets at -500 despite having both finals teams because they aren't paying winners but charging losers. And truly my Avs bet was a hedge.
(If you hate hockey, imagine having Lakers, Celtics and Clippers tickets at all plus money and knowing you can only lose money even if its LA vs Celtics in the finals)
There are two options. 1. Either don't grade losers and you cancel the entire bet (again you can't have losers without winners)
  1. you payout winners past on the hedge odds. If Lightning is +600 on future ticket and in Finals their opponent is +100, I should be collecting HALF my TO Win and get back my to risk.
You simply cannot fairly/ethically/justifiably collect ALL losing tickets, 30 teams of losing tickets, then cancel the 2 teams that can possibly win.
If you're still not outraged. 5dimes is STILL taking bets on NBA and NHL futures knowing you can only LOSE or Cancel bet.

Gold new High

For Trading JULY 28th
DKNG FALTERS
“NEW ALL-TIME HIGH FOR GOLD”
BITCOIN RALLIES
Today’s market got off to a mixed start NASDAQ higher and a somewhat subdued start for the DJIA and S&P-500, but the others caught up quickly and all rallied into the close with the DJIA +114.88 (.43%), NASDAQ +173.09 (1.67%), S&P 500 +23.78 (.74%), the Russell +17.10 (1.17%) and the DJ Transports +87.30 (.90%). Market internals continued positive with both NYSE and NASDAQ 1.5:1 higher although volume was down. DJIA was 17 up and 13 down with no major movers but AAPL adding 60 DP’s and BA losing 25. Durable goods gained 7.3% vs. 6.4 expected and that gave the market some solid underpinnings. Commodities were all higher as the U.S. Dollar continues to fall. While I think that we may get a reflex rally shortly, commodities are still cheaper than stocks.
Our “open forum” on Discord, which allows me to interact with subscribers and others to allow direct questions and chart opinions on just about any stock, continues to grow with more participants every day. It is informative and allows me to share insights as the market is open and moving. The link is: https://discord.gg/ATvC7YZ and I will be there and active from before the open and all day. It’s a great place to share ideas and gain some insights, and we’ve grown to almost 3000 members. I also did this video over the weekend on a day-trade, (actually 2) that I made in AAPL on Friday. I think it’s highly informative as a guide to under what conditions these kind of trades in expiring options make sense. The link is https://youtu.be/qIV0G-hP3aM Enjoy!!
Tonight’s closing comment video https://youtu.be/FDZWwDnw7qM
SECTORS: DraftKings (DKNG) really took it on the chin today as several baseball teams had players that tested positive for COVID-19. This had a snowball effect and caused a total of 5 teams cancelling games and putting into question the viability of continuing sports available for betting. The NFL is also at odds with the NFL Players association over several issues and that would clearly put into question of whether there will be a season for them also. After the deal with the SPAC to bring the company public the stock had a steady rise from the $12.00 level to a high of $44.79, a decline and a pullback and an attempt to move higher that resulted in a lower high (43.75 in June), and another decline back to 27.54 in July and another lower high of 38.84 last week and the possible start of a new decline. While the stock is a favorite of bettors without sports to bet on and the legions of new RobinHood investors, it is still an “unseasoned security” and is subject to erratic swings. It would not surprise me if baseball ends in the short term to see this one back at $24- $25. On the rise today, TSM up 12.7% on speculation that the INTC news of problems with their new chips would cause them to purchase chips from TSM. After close of $67.37 on Thursday, TSM closed up at 73.90 Friday and gapped up today to finish $83.25 +9.35 (12.7%) and is now $84.88 in after hours.

OIL, $41.60 +.31. Oil was lower in last night’s trading before we rallied in the morning. I mentioned in last night’s charts with comments section in the Weekly Strategies letter, that it is a toss-up for a move in either direction. The stocks were MIXED with XLE $37.55 +.04 (.11%).
GOLD $1,931.00 +33.50. It was a continuation rally and a new recovery high of $1,897.70. I have only the NEM August 65 / 70 spread on in the Gold market. The spread was put on at $1.30 and finished the day @ $2.67.
BITCOIN: closed $10,895 +1,280. After trading back to 8985 we rallied back to close – only $5. Since last week we have closed between 9200 – 92.85 every day with narrow ranges and today was a good start to move higher. A break over 10,000 still sends us higher. The Morning Update for June 12th

For Trading JUNE 12th
IT’S NEVER DIFFERENT!!
Sometimes it Just Takes Longer
Declines Across All Asset Classes
Today’s market was just waiting to happen, and finally it had the FED to blame. More specifically, it had the influx of newly minted retail investors, bored without any sports to bet their PUA and unemployment checks on, and taking a “shot on anything that looked cheap” (not by p/e, but just by price) and all those great bankruptcy lotto plays. To be fair, the spike in COVID-19 cases across 20 states and places like Arizona telling anyone who would listen that they are at capacity in their ICUs, and we had a perfect storm for the sellers. Add to that the unbridled speculation in airlines and cruise ships going back into business and BA going from $140 to $240 (pre-market, not in the real world) and “What could possibly go wrong?” Well, BA traded down to $166.00 before a minor bounce to close $170.00 -33.41 (16.42%). By midday the down 900 preopening futures looked tame with the DJIA -1400 (5%) and the NAZ -400 and the S&P -140. Then, at 2:30 when the margin calls hit the next wave sent us to -1750 by 3:00. Things calmed down for a while and the teleprompter readers made all sorts of excuses for the fall, but the fact that we went too far too fast with no REAL economic justification, or realistic expectation about what a “reopening of the country” would look like, all the while the Orange Emperor and his henchmen were telling anyone who would listen that this was a “rocket ship.” Seems more like the Challenger disaster today. The final numbers were DJIA -1861.82 (6.9%), NASDAQ -527.62 (5.27%), S&P 500 -188.04 (5.89%, the Russell -111.17 (7.58%), and the Transports – 741>66 (7.74%). Market internals were absurdly warped with the NYSE 33:1 down and NASDAQ 13:1. Volume was slightly higher than yesterday. All 11 S&P sectors were lower and the DJIA had no gainers. The biggest losers were BA -228, UNH-151, GS -132, AAPL -116, and HD -103 DPs. The worst losses were in energy, financials, industrials, material’s and real estate. Least bad was consumer staples.

SECTORS: I’m going to change up and shorten tonight’s Note since it was such an overwhelming bad day. I’ll list all sectors with the worst and least worst and the ETF to reflect the overall damage. There were a couple earnings reports, LULU missed numbers by a penny with .22 vs .23 expected. The stock was $308 -14.73 (4.5%) before the numbers and after the miss the stock traded $282 with a last of 287 – another $21 for a total loss of 36.25 (11.2%). Adobe (ADBE) beat on earnings but missed on revenues, but the market was pleased, nonetheless. The stock had closed $388.30 -18.52 (4.55%) but turned on a dime and headed back to trade $407.11 and is currently 403 +15 (3,.8%). Last, we had great news on human trials for REGN for Covid-19 antibodies but after making a new all-time high @ $625.79, even REGN was subject to the decline and finished the day $30 off the highs at $596.77 -9.82 (1.62%).
FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN was LOWER with FLO the only gainer +.52 (2.26%) and BGS, maker of Green Giant and Ortega to name a few was $22.46 -2.88 (11.37%), HRL and SJM, consumer staples were both down about 2.5% PBJ finished $30.24 -1.24 (3.95%).
BIOPHARMA was LOWER with the best performer, REGN (see above) -1.72% and BHC 17.35 -1.43 (7.61%) and IBB $127.57 -5.77 (4.33%).

FINANCIALS were LOWER with C $48.70 -7.17 (12.84%) and V 189.01 -11.47 (5.72%) the best and XLF $23.22 -1.97 (7.82%).
OIL, $36.34 -3.26. Oil was under pressure all day, finishing near the lows and is slightly lower tonight. The stocks were weak with OXY $17.59 -3.17 (15.27%) and CVX $89.80 -7.78 (7.97 the best performer. XLE finished $38.96 -3.92 (9.14%).
METALS, GOLD: $1,739.80 +19.10. After trading higher this morning Gold and Silver both got sold off with the massive liquidation that hit all markets. After finishing no better than mid-range, we are lower by $4 tonight. We bought back the 3rd and final lot of NEM @ $58.86.
BITCOIN: closed $9,300 -635. After trading higher again early this morning (10080) BTC got hit with the same liquidation as all other stocks and commodities. It fell back to 9,090 and is slightly higher tonight. We added 350 shares of GBTC last Wednesday @ $10.02 to our position of 400 @ $8.06, bringing our average price to $8.97. Day 0. Merry F'In Christmas

First off, thanks to everyone who's been posting here, especially lately, it's been real helpful. A couple of fellow Day0/1 today's were real relatable posts, I'm going to reply to your posts in addition to posting this, but I want to get this on the record, AGAIN. Last year, it was Christmas Eve, late at night while my 4 year old son was sleeping, that I crashed and burned with online gambling. Through the help of this forum I was able to stay clean for 10 months, but then slipped back into Fantasy Football, which of course led to pissing away thousands of $$ online through blackjack and sports betting. Lost about $8k this past week alone, FML. Was trying to stay small betting today, won a little, but couldn't leave it be, so I bet a little more, lost a little more, chased, boom! Done. I have a good job, I'll be able to bounce back after a few months, but this fucking hurts. It hurts the most because it's happened so many times before. It's so predictable. Last Christmas same thing. I like to say how good of a father I am and how great it is having a 5 year old son, etc. But here I am, again, on fucking Christmas, and I have to pretend to be happy and joyous with him while he's doing his thing. I'm absent from life. It's pathetic. I'm being extremely selfish, irresponsible, and just plain stupid. This addiction is freaking brutal man.
The saving grace in all this is that I did it last year, I know I can do it again this year, and I know how much happier I was when I got some clean time behind me, didn't have the constant stress in my life. I can go back and read the damn posts. Wish I could have stayed stronger when the temptation came this time, but I know life can still be good on the other side of this. I didn't drain my last $$, I took the last big loss a couple of minutes ago as my grand finale. I reversed the Bitcoin money that I was going to deposit to try to chase losses from last week. I emptied the one last fantasy football site. I'm done. Out. Finished. I'm still trembling and wrapped up in my own addiction instead of being fully present for my son, but that's going to change starting with the rest of tonight. I love the posting of someone else today where they project forward to next Christmas, that they won't be in the same predicament as this year, and I'm doing the same. One year from now I'll be in the same room at the same house at the same time but I WILL NOT be recovering from another fucking gambling binge. 12/25/19 to 12/25/20.

Mockingbird X.0

Imagine if there was one desk that all stories could cross so that, at 4am, a media plan could be decided upon and disseminated where all news outlets coordinated to set the goalposts of debate and hyper focused on specific issues to drive a narrative to control how you vote and how you spend money; where Internet shills were given marching orders in tandem to what was shown on television, printed in newspapers and spread throughout articles on the World Wide Web.
https://i.imgur.com/Elnci0M.png
In the past, we had Operation Mockingbird, where the program was supremely confident that it could control stories around the world, even in instructions to cover up any story about a possible “Yeti” sighting, should it turn out they were real.
https://i.imgur.com/121LXqy.png
If, in 1959, the government was confident in its ability to control a story about a Yeti, then what is their level of confidence in controlling stories, today?
https://i.imgur.com/jQFVYew.png
https://i.imgur.com/ZKMYGJj.png
In fact, we have a recent example of a situation similar to the Yeti. When Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch met on the TARMAC to spike the Hillary email investigation, the FBI was so confident it wasn’t them, that their entire focus was finding the leaker, starting with searching within the local PD. We have documentation that demonstrates the state of mind of the confidence the upper levels of the FBI have when dealing with the media.

The marriage between mainstream media and government is a literal one and this arrangement is perfectly legal.
https://i.imgur.com/OAd4vpf.png
But, this problem extends far beyond politics; the private sector, the scientific community, even advice forums are shilled heavily. People are paid to cause anxiety, recommend people break up and otherwise sow depression and nervousness. This is due to a correlating force that employs “systems psychodynamics”, focusing on “tension centered” strategies to create “organizational paradoxes” by targeting people’s basic assumptions about the world around them to create division and provide distraction.

In this day and age, it is even easier to manage these concepts and push a controlled narrative from a central figure than it has ever been. Allen & Co is a “boutique investment firm” that managed the merger between Disney and Fox and operates as an overseeing force for nearly all media and Internet shill armies, while having it’s fingers in sports, social media, video games, health insurance, etc.
https://i.imgur.com/zlpBh3c.png
https://i.imgur.com/e5ZvFFJ.png
Former director of the CIA and Paul Brennan’s former superior George Tenet, holds the reigns of Allen & Co. The cast of characters involves a lot of the usual suspects.
https://i.imgur.com/3OlrX7G.png
In 1973, Allen & Company bought a stake in Columbia Pictures. When the business was sold in 1982 to Coca-Cola, it netted a significant profit. Since then, Herbert Allen, Jr. has had a place on Coca-Cola's board of directors.
Since its founding in 1982, the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference has regularly drawn high-profile attendees such as Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Rupert Murdoch, Barry Diller, Michael Eisner, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Johnson, Andy Grove, Richard Parsons, and Donald Keough.
Allen & Co. was one of ten underwriters for the Google initial public offering in 2004. In 2007, Allen was sole advisor to Activision in its $18 billion merger with Vivendi Games. In 2011, the New York Mets hired Allen & Co. to sell a minority stake of the team. That deal later fell apart. In November 2013, Allen & Co. was one of seven underwriters on the initial public offering of Twitter. Allen & Co. was the adviser of Facebook in its $19 billion acquisition of WhatsApp in February 2014.
In 2015, Allen & Co. was the advisor to Time Warner in its $80 billion 2015 merger with Charter Communications, AOL in its acquisition by Verizon, Centene Corporation in its $6.8 billion acquisition of Health Net, and eBay in its separation from PayPal.
In 2016, Allen & Co was the lead advisor to Time Warner in its $108 billion acquisition by AT&T, LinkedIn for its merger talks with Microsoft, Walmart in its $3.3 billion purchase of Jet.com, and Verizon in its $4.8 billion acquisition of Yahoo!. In 2017, Allen & Co. was the advisor to Chewy.com in PetSmart’s $3.35 billion purchase of the online retailer.
Allen & Co throws the Sun Valley Conference every year where you get a glimpse of who sows up. Harvey Weinstein, though a past visitor, was not invited last year.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_%26_Company_Sun_Valley_Conference
Previous conference guests have included Bill and Melinda Gates, Warren and Susan Buffett, Tony Blair, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Allen alumnus and former Philippine Senator Mar Roxas, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, Quicken Loans Founder & Chairman Dan Gilbert, Yahoo! co-founder Jerry Yang, financier George Soros, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch, eBay CEO Meg Whitman, BET founder Robert Johnson, Time Warner Chairman Richard Parsons, Nike founder and chairman Phil Knight, Dell founder and CEO Michael Dell, NBA player LeBron James, Professor and Entrepreneur Sebastian Thrun, Governor Chris Christie, entertainer Dan Chandler, Katharine Graham of The Washington Post, Diane Sawyer, InterActiveCorp Chairman Barry Diller, Linkedin co-founder Reid Hoffman, entrepreneur Wences Casares, EXOR and FCA Chairman John Elkann, Sandro Salsano from Salsano Group, and Washington Post CEO Donald E. Graham, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and Oprah Winfrey.

George Tenet, with the reigns of Allen & Co in his hands, is able to single-handedly steer the entire Mockingbird apparatus from cable television to video games to Internet shills from a singular location determining the spectrum of allowable debate. Not only are they able to target people’s conscious psychology, they can target people’s endocrine systems with food and pornography; where people are unaware, on a conscious level, of how their moods and behavior are being manipulated.
https://i.imgur.com/mA3MzTB.png
"The problem with George Tenet is that he doesn't seem to care to get his facts straight. He is not meticulous. He is willing to make up stories that suit his purposes and to suppress information that does not."
"Sadly but fittingly, 'At the Center of the Storm' is likely to remind us that sometimes what lies at the center of a storm is a deafening silence."
https://i.imgur.com/YHMJnnP.png
Tenet joined President-elect Bill Clinton's national security transition team in November 1992. Clinton appointed Tenet Senior Director for Intelligence Programs at the National Security Council, where he served from 1993 to 1995. Tenet was appointed Deputy Director of Central Intelligence in July 1995. Tenet held the position as the DCI from July 1997 to July 2004. Citing "personal reasons," Tenet submitted his resignation to President Bush on June 3, 2004. Tenet said his resignation "was a personal decision and had only one basis—in fact, the well-being of my wonderful family—nothing more and nothing less. In February 2008, he became a managing director at investment bank Allen & Company.

We have the documentation that demonstrates what these people could possibly be doing with all of these tools of manipulation at their fingertips.
The term for it is “covert political action” for which all media put before your eyes is used to serve as a veneer… a reality TV show facade of a darker modus operandum.

It is now clear that we are facing an implacable enemy whose avowed objective is world domination by whatever means and at whatever costs. There are no rules in such a game. Hitherto acceptable norms of human conduct do not apply. If the US is to survive, longstanding American concepts of "fair play" must be reconsidered. We must develop effective espionage and counterespionage services and must learn to subvert, sabotage and destroy our enemies by more clever, more sophisticated means than those used against us. It may become necessary that the American people be made acquainted with, understand and support this fundamentally repugnant philosophy.

Intelligence historian Jeffrey T. Richelson says the S.A. has covered a variety of missions. The group, which recently was reorganized, has had about 200 officers, divided among several groups: the Special Operations Group; the Foreign Training Group, which trains foreign police and intelligence officers; the Propaganda and Political Action Group, which handles disinformation; the Computer Operations Group, which handles information warfare; and the Proprietary Management Staff, which manages whatever companies the CIA sets up as covers for the S.A.
Scientology as a CIA Political Action Group – “It is a continuing arrangement…”: https://mikemcclaughry.wordpress.com/2015/08/25/scientology-as-a-cia-political-action-group-it-is-a-continuing-arrangement/
…Those operations we inaugurated in the years 1955-7 are still secret, but, for present purposes, I can say all that’s worth saying about them in a few sentences – after, that is, I offer these few words of wisdom. The ‘perfect’ political action operation is, by definition, uneventful. Nothing ‘happens’ in it. It is a continuing arrangement, neither a process nor a series of actions proceeding at a starting point and ending with a conclusion.
CIA FBI NSA Personnel Active in Scientology: https://i.imgur.com/acu2Eti.png
When you consider the number of forces that can be contained within a single “political action group” in the form on a “boutique investment firm,” where all sides of political arguments are predetermined by a selected group of actors who have been planted, compromised or leveraged in some way in order to control the way they spin their message.
https://i.imgur.com/tU4MD4S.png
The evidence of this coordinated effort is overwhelming and the “consensus” that you see on TV, in sports, in Hollywood, in the news and on the Internet is fabricated.
Under the guise of a fake account a posting is made which looks legitimate and is towards the truth is made - but the critical point is that it has a VERY WEAK PREMISE without substantive proof to back the posting. Once this is done then under alternative fake accounts a very strong position in your favour is slowly introduced over the life of the posting. It is IMPERATIVE that both sides are initially presented, so the uninformed reader cannot determine which side is the truth. As postings and replies are made the stronger 'evidence' or disinformation in your favour is slowly 'seeded in.'
Thus the uninformed reader will most likely develop the same position as you, and if their position is against you their opposition to your posting will be most likely dropped. However in some cases where the forum members are highly educated and can counter your disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then 'abort' the consensus cracking by initiating a 'forum slide.'
When you find yourself feeling like common sense and common courtesy aren’t as common as they ought to be, it is because there is a massive psychological operation controlled from the top down to ensure that as many people as possible are caught in a “tension based” mental loop that is inflicted on them by people acting with purpose to achieve goals that are not in the interest of the general population, but a method of operating in secret and corrupt manner without consequences.
Notice that Jeffrey Katzenberg, of Disney, who is intertwined with Allen & Co funds the Young Turks. He is the perfect example of the relationship between media and politics.
Katzenberg has also been involved in politics. With his active support of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, he was called "one of Hollywood's premier political kingmakers and one of the Democratic Party's top national fundraisers."
With cash from Jeffrey Katzenberg, The Young Turks looks to grow paid subscribers:
https://digiday.com/media/with-cash-from-katzenberg-the-young-turks-look-to-grow-paid-subscribers/
Last week, former DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg’s new mobile entertainment company WndrCo was part of a $20 million funding round in TYT Network, which oversees 30 news and commentary shows covering politics, pop culture, sports and more. This includes the flagship “The Young Turks” program that streams live on YouTube every day. Other investors in the round included venture capital firms Greycroft Partners, E.ventures and 3L Capital, which led the round. This brings total funding for Young Turks to $24 million.
How Hollywood's Political Donors Are Changing Strategies for the Trump Era:

Hollywood activism long has been depicted as a club controlled by a handful of powerful white men: Katzenberg, Spielberg, Lear, David Geffen, Haim Saban and Bob Iger are the names most often mentioned. But a new generation of power brokers is ascendant, including J.J. Abrams and his wife, Katie McGrath, cited for their personal donations and bundling skills; Shonda Rhimes, who held a get-out-the-vote rally at USC's Galen Center on Sept. 28 that drew 10,000 people; CAA's Darnell Strom, who has hosted events for Nevada congresswoman Jacky Rosen and Arizona congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema; and former Spotify executive Troy Carter, who held three fundraisers for Maryland gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous (Carter also was a fundraiser for President Obama).
Soros Group Buys Viacom's DreamWorks Film Library:
https://www.forbes.com/2006/03/17/soros-viacom-dreamworks-cx_gl_0317autofacescan11.html#541a895f1f22
Viacom, after splitting off from Les Moonves Les Moonves ' CBS , still holds Paramount Pictures, and that movie studio in December agreed to acquire DreamWorks SKG, the creative shop founded by the Hollywood triumvirate of Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg (a former exec at The Walt Disney Co.). DreamWorks Animation had been spun off into a separate company.
Now it's time for Freston to make back some money--and who better to do a little business with than George Soros? The billionaire financier leads a consortium of Soros Strategic Partners LP and Dune Entertainment II LLC, which together are buying the DreamWorks library--a collection of 59 flicks, including Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator, and American Beauty.
The money you spend on media and junk food and in taxes goes to these groups who then decide how best to market at you so that they decide how you vote by creating a fake consensus to trick into thinking that you want something other than what is best for you; but will inevitably result in more money being funneled to the top, creating further separation between the super rich and the average person. The goal will be to assert creeping authoritarianism by generating outrage against policies and issues they hate. Part of manipulating your basic assumptions is also to use schadenfreude (think canned laughter on TV) against characters who support the cause that might actually do you the most good (which reaffirms and strengthens your confirmation biased along predetermined political lines).
https://i.imgur.com/PW1cRtj.png
We have a population being taught to hate socialism and love capitalism when the truth is no country is practicing either. These terms are merely disguises for political oligarchies where the collection of wealth is less about getting themselves rich and more about keeping everyone else poor.
What can you guess about the world around you if it turned out that every consensus that was forced on you was fake?
How much money would it take to make it look like 51% of the Internet believed in completely idiotic ideas? Combine shill operations with automation and AI’s, and the cost becomes a good investment relative to the return when measured in political power.
Even the people who are well intentioned and very vocal do not have to consciously be aware that they are working for a political action group. A covert political group will always prefer an unwitting tool to help push their agenda, so that they can remain in the shadows.

I bought deathcoin. I didn’t know what I was getting into.

When I was younger I liked to window shop on the deep web. It wasn’t anything serious, I’d just look at the prices of various substances and how to get them delivered. That was my first exposure to cryptocurrencies. I wish I had never bought my first bitcoin.
There’s a forum out there. I wish I could tell you it’s dead and buried by now but I know it isn’t. I know because they’re still tracking me.
The first thread I read there seemed to be some kind of gambling action. Admins would take bets and users would place them. But the bets weren’t on sports or horse racing, not even cock fights. They were on suicides. Who would do it when and why. Who would push them over the edge and be the straw to break the camel’s back.
In order to place any bets I had to exchange bitcoin for deathcoin. The process was... Difficult. Very difficult for a kid in high-school. But when I finally did it was exhilarating. The person I chose was, at the time, another high schooler. Her name was Karen and she was from the same town I am but we went to a different school.
Once the bet was placed I was delivered via pdf a dossier on her life. I knew her habits and routines. I knew how long it took her to wake up in the morning and how long it took for her to get to sleep. I even knew her favorite color. Which was blue.
I bet that after a year of harassment she would be in a wooden box six feet under.
The admins would dedicate a thread to each victim for updates on their progress, and each victim had several field workers dedicated to them. They received the same dossier I did.
The difference is that they went outside and put it to use. Field agents would covertly harass her in all ways, graffiti directed at her, speaking about her day within earshot of her, the most daring agent broke into her house regularly. They didn’t steal anything, though. What they did do was move her furniture ever so slightly and in the same direction for months.
Needless to say, this brought her to and past the brink. Karen began hearing voices in her head and she couldn’t distinguish them from those outside. They all told her the same thing: kill yourself.
And so on the first Friday of October she exited her parents house and made it to the garage with her mother’s keys. The engine sparked and exhaust filtered from the muffler into the car. She passed an hour later. The field agents had won as they always do.
“Congratulations! Karen Waters was found dead this morning in her mother’s car! The lucky winner is user number 228305504!”
Attached to the thread was an article about the suicide. My user number was just a few days before the winner’s. I lost a hundred bucks, but I did get to watch someone spiral down for a year. Like I said before, it was exhilarating and well worth it. Who wouldn’t pay a hundred bucks for front row seats to see someone end it? We all would. Humanity is a dark thing and I’m no exception.
But the loss left a bad taste in my mouth so I never placed another bet. I didn’t even return to the forum for years.
Until I noticed my couch was just slightly out of place.
Cold sweat beaded down my neck as I turned my computer on and fired up TOR for the first time since high school. It took some digging but I finally found the site. And there I was.
A whole thread dedicated to me. I was chosen. But I have something the others don’t. I know what you’re doing. And I’ll be coming for you.

Bitcoin Cash: A Reflection on How Far We’ve Come

On August 1, Bitcoin resumed its original roadmap, scaling on-chain towards global adoption as Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash.
It’s been just 3 and a half months since Bitcoin Cash broke away from BTC in order avoid a software mutation called Segwit, and to restore progress and growth to the ecosystem.
After a recent price rally that saw us reach 0.5 BTC ($3000), the reality is setting in that an overnight ‘flippening’ scenario that some people hoped for is unlikely, and that we have a longer road ahead.
It’s really important to remember how much has been achieved in such a short time.
Let’s take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come as a young community.
July:
August:
September:
October:
November:
This rate and scale of industry adoption is unprecedented.
With every BTC holder receiving an equal amount of Bitcoin Cash, and with the price over $1300, the rate and scale of user adoption is unprecedented.
With fast, reliable transactions and fees that are less than 1 cent, and with both BitPay & Coinbase hinting at a full Bitcoin Cash integration, the rate and scale of merchant adoption will be unprecedented.
With unprecedented industry, user and merchant adoption, it’s only a matter of time until Bitcoin Cash becomes the default medium of exchange and store of value cryptocurrency.
The old Bitcoin is back. You can feel it. It’s the resurgence of a grassroots movement not seen for years. People are putting Bitcoin Cash posters in the streets, handing out leaflets, tipping strangers a few dollars online, and asking in forums how they can contribute to the community.
Just in the last couple of days a ‘Bitcoin Cash Fund’ was established, to assist with marketing and projects. The initial goal was $200 to make a short animated advert, but over $17,000 has been donated already. All of this positivity and energy is inspiring.
While businesses are being forced to abandon BTC due to exorbitant and skyrocketing fees (upwards of $10), they’re being cheered on every day as they embrace Bitcoin Cash.
The original vision is still alive. As an early bitcoiner, I’ve never been more optimistic.
Make sure you involve yourself in the community, we’re just getting started :)

Weekly Update: $PAR events galore, Parachute Treasure Hunt Winner, Arena Match Roadmap, SelfKey on ETHoutlet... – 18 Oct - 24 Oct'19
Hiya folks! Long time since I shared a weekly update. Let's see if I can catch up with the latest in the next few days. Wish me luck. Here’s your week at Parachute + partners (18 Oct - 24 Oct'19):

This week’s Parena saw rageagainst take home a cool 50k $PAR by beating Ryan in a quick finale battle. The ParJar Battle Royale for our newest ParJar Pilot partners was this week. A ton of fun and a lot of $PAR (and $AMGO) tipped out. The official numbers of the $AMGO airdrop is out. The event which happened few weeks back saw 27k new ParJar wallets receiving the drop. Sweet! Plus, Benjamin hosted a 10Q, 25k $PAR pot trivia based on the 2nd edition of the Parachute Post that he wrote. Even if you didn’t win, you definitely know more about Parachute and ParJar now. Thanks Ben!

Other mentions

A DuckDuckGo search produces several other press mentions, including:

Technology

This section is a basic rundown of the user-visible site technology.

Mobile Web

The site is not natively accessible from a mobile Web browser as it is overlayed with a promotion for the mobile application instead. Selecting "Desktop View" in most mobile browsers should allow browser-based access.

Mobile App

There are both Android and iOS apps for MeWe. I've used neither of these, though the App store entries note:
Crunchbase cites 209,220 mobile downloads over the past 30 days (via Apptopia), an 80.78% monthly growth rate, from Google Play.

Desktop Web

Either selecting "View Desktop" or navigating with a Desktop browser to https://www.mewe.com your are presented with a registration screen, with the "About", "Privacy Bill of Rights", "MeWe Challenge", and a language selector across the top of the page. Information requested are first and last name, phone or email, and a password. Pseudonymous identities are permitted, though this isn't noted on the login screen. Returning members can use the "Member Log In" button.
The uMatrix Firefox extension reveals no third-party content: all page elements are served from mewe.com, img.mewe.com, cdn.mewe.com, or ws.mewe.com. (In subsequent browsing, you may find third-party plugins from, for example, YouTube, for videos, or Giphy, for animated GIFs.)
The web front-end is nginx. The site uses SSL v3, issued by DigiCert Inc. to Sgrouples, Inc.

Onboarding

The onboarding experience is stark. There is no default content presented. A set of unidentified icons spans the top of the screen, these turn out to be Home, Chats, Groups, Pages, and Events. New users have to, somehow, find groups or people to connect with, and there's little guidance as to how to do this.

Interface

Generally there is a three panel view, with left- and right-hand sidebars of largely navigational or status information, and a central panel with main content. There are also pop-up elements for chats, an omnipresent feature of the site.
Controls display labels on some devices and/or resolutions. Controls do not provide tooltips for navigational aid.

Features

Among the touted features of MeWe are:

Community

A key aspect of any social network is its community. Some of the available or ascertained information on this follows.

Size

Weinstein claims a "million+ following inside MeWe.com" on Twitter.
The largest visible groups appear to have a maximum of around 15,000 members , for "Awesome gifs". "Clean Comedy" rates 13,350, and the largest open political groups, 11,000+ members.
This compares to Google+ which has a staggering, though Android-registrations-inflated 3.3 billion profiles, and 7.9 million communities, though the largest of these come in at under 10 million members. It's likely that MeWe's membership is on the whole more more active than Google+'s, where generally-visible posting activity was limited to just over 9% of all profiles, and the active user base was well under 1% of the total nominal population.

Active Users

MeWe do not publish active users (e.g., MUA / monthly active users) statistics.

Groups

MeWe is principally a group-oriented discussion site -- interactions take place either between individuals or within group contexts. Virtually all discovery is group-oriented. The selection and dynamics of groups on the site will likely strongly affect user experience, so exploring the available groups and their characteristics is of interest.
"MeWe has over 60,000 open groups" according to its FAQ.
The Open groups -- visible to any registered MeWe user, though not to the general public Web -- are browsable, though sections and topics must be expanded to view the contents: an overview isn't immediately accessible. We provide a taste here.
A selection of ten featured topics spans the top of the browser. As I view these, they are:
Specific groups may appear in multiple categories.
The top Groups within these topics have, variously, 15,482, 7,738, 15,482 (dupe), 7,745, 8,223, 8,220, 1,713, 9,527, 2,716, and 1,516 members. Political Groups

It's curious that MeWe make a specific point in their FAQ that:
At MeWe we have absolutely no political agenda and we have a very straightforward Terms of Service. MeWe is for all law-abiding people everywhere in the world, regardless of political, ethnic, religious, sexual, and other preferences.
There are 403 political groups on MeWe. I won't list them all here, but the first 100 or so give a pretty clear idea of flavour. Again, membership is in (parentheses). Note that half the total political Groups memberships are in the first 21 groups listed here, the first 6 are 25% of the total.

It seems there is relatively little representation from the left wing, or even the centre, of the political spectrum. A case-insensitive match for "liberal" turns up:
Mainstream political parties are little represented, though again, the balance seems skewed searching on "(democrat|republic|gop)":
The terms "left" and "right" provide a few matches, not all strictly political-axis aligned:
Socialism and Communism also warrant a few mentions:
And there are some references to green, laboulabor parties:

Conclusion

Whilst there may not be a political agenda, there does appear to be at least a slight political bias to the site. And a distinctive skew on many other topical subjects.
Those seeking new homes online may wish to take this into account.

Bitwin 2.0 - iGaming disruption is on its way

Bitwin 2.0 - iGaming disruption is on its way

iGaming does not have to be expensive.

Existing market structure drives tactics that peel off dollars from players who agree to the present gaming conditions. The general rule is that the bigger and more reputable gambling platform is the higher the margin fees it can tax on its clients. We can say it is common, when the platform uses just the well known or hidden monetization tactics, but there are plenty of documented cases of basic rip-off of the clients. This chapter explains why the latest technology may cease current market situation that favors gambling platforms, rather than their clients.
Tokenization of online casino business means that users will be able to send and receive funds without the use of any financial institution. Cutting out the middleman will simply safe all of us lots of money and hassle. Imagine Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neller not even touching your money, and that there is no need to make bank transfers anymore. Especially time frames for many forms of international money transfers can take out all the pleasure from gaming and betting. At Bitwin 2.0 we save each and every customers time, granting participants with near instant transactions, close to zero latency in deposit or withdrawal, overthrowing every fiat, bitcoin and altcoin online casino out there. Waiting periods for transactions may soon be the thing of the past. What this basically means is that nobody, including other gambling platforms, banks and payment processing companies, will hold your funds to their own advantage — be it investing your and other players money for their own profit from so called escrow form, or collecting funds to use as a bankroll for games and bets. Long withdrawal times can also discourage players from payouts, making them come back to casino tables repeatedly and, as a result, loose big proportions of winnings.
This is not the only advantage of creating cryptocurrency infrastructure on the top of the casino and sportsbook platform. Bitwin Token being based on ERC-20 standard, with a complete set of casino instructions written in the smart contracts, off-chain Raiden Network technology solution and other novelty functionalities, can achieve much more in terms of economic efficiency. In fact, it can accomplish lowest margin fees in the gambling market globally. Bypassing costly intermediaries such as server hosting, service providers plus previously mentioned payment processing companies, as well as overcoming standard Ethereum blockchain limits, results in gaming costs and house edge as low as 1%. Thanks to that, every single step of the game, and majority of additional actions on the platform, are automated and executed in the most efficient way, saving customers and Bitwin tons of money. Marginal costs and house edge in land and traditional online casinos could reach as high as 15%, so everyone can see the difference.
What is more, omitting painful gas prices with Raiden Network allows Bitwin to process even the smallest bets without a significant rise in the games cost, which opens up new possibilities for customers, small gamblers and recreational players of any kind. Micro-betting activity will not slow down Bitwin Network, as it would in case of a standard Ethereum or Bitcoin distributed ledger capabilities; therefore, unabling other tokenized gambling projects based on blockchain to attract those who bet in minuscule amounts.
To catch up with the attractive casino tokenomics, and in quest to offer a fully matured product that includes sportsbook, we did thorough market due diligence to find the best sports betting software that is blockchain — compliant. After consideration, we decided to partner up with FansUnite team in deployment of their cutting-edge protocol on the upcoming Bitwin 2.0 platform. FansUnite team did some groundbreaking work on their product, putting incentivized net of oracles on distributed ledger in addition, to developing a machine learning algorithms, which will be responsible for issuing and governing decentralized sports data and risk management respectively. The new alliance will assist Bitwin 2.0 platform with similar price efficiency that can be counted as one of the most appealing one in the global online vertical. FansUnite protocol assumes betting margins as low as 1%, which in comparison to the rest of the industry, seems to be a game changer.
From customer point of view, cost-effectiveness is one of the most important factors in building the foundation of good relation with a company. Players and bettors, provided with inexpensive, robust casino and sportsbook alternative, will more likely choose an economical option in the long term. Bitwin makes every effort to provide the best solutions that will make the mass adoption plan possible, as long as term growth is substantial to us. We believe that we can only achieve it by differentiating ourselves from the current payment processing system infrastructure, and by developing attractive price efficiency. As a result, we are able to offer unquestionably noncompetitive terms that contemporary technological concepts can not provide.
Decentralisation- guaranteed privacy
Entertainment with Bitwin Token is fully anonymous. Bitwin, as firm believer in cryptocurrencies, positions itself with the rest of decentralized movement on privacy rights, entitling casino clients full anonymity measures.
Fully decentralized platforms are rapidly becoming a means to guarantee confidentiality at its best. Blockchain, by design, was invented to connect interested parties without establishing necessary trust between them. Therefore, Bitwin customers can fully interact with the platform and feel safe with their sensitive information because nobody, including the site owners, employees nor any authorities, can access their data, which is one of the most significant traits that public, yet distributed ledgers have to offer. This prevents any hack attempt from taking over control of your credit card data or other vulnerable personal info as opposed to many known case studies of centralized gambling platforms.
Privacy guaranteed by blockchain grants Bitwin 2.0 sportsbook users means to bet freely on every sport category, without bet amount constraints, unlike the limits that exist on other betting platforms.
